Kiso hinoki is special wood from Kiso area of Nagano pref.  It is nice aromatic wood and its small annual ring is very beautiful. As a material for building or small articles, Koso hinoki is popular among those who prefer natural and luxury taste in Japan because of its high durability and conservation.
